This is a terrible device!! DO NOT BUY THIS!! IT'S NOT HIGH-SPEED!!

0 1/5 Squall Leonhart - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Black 4-Port High Speed USB 2.0 Hub (Personal Computers) Me and a friend of mine got one, and we are sad to say, it was a waste of money. It's not high-speed, it can't hold more than one thing with transfer without canceling everything out. For example: I had my Logitech Headset plugged inside it, and had my PSP USB Cable in the slot next to it. I went to transfer something off my memory stick, (Which by the way was EXTREMELY slow) and when I exited USB mode, it canceled out my headset too! Do not buy this, honestly! Find something better then this false advertisement! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 25, 2010

Works OK but not for powered USB devices

0 2/5 J. "premiumSOLE" (M-town, CA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Black 4-Port High Speed USB 2.0 Hub (Personal Computers) Bought 2 of these to expand USB connectivity for one of my old desktop computer and my netbook. I use it to connect several USB drives simultaneously and recognizes all my USB drives including my Sandisk 7-in-1 card reader. However, problem starts when I plug in my iPhone cable and won't charge my iPhone nor will it connect to iTunes. Transfer speed was average. It's not high-speed as it advertises so I'm not sure why it states that. Price is great and that's what attracted me into buying 2 but save your money and you can find better USB hubs at the same prices out there. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , May 3, 2010

universal, serial, bus, usb, specification,
Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a specification[1] to establish communication between devices and a host controller (usually personal computers), developed and invented by Ajay Bhatt while working for Intel.[2][3] USB is intended to replace many varieties of serial and parallel ports. USB can connect computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, personal media players, flash drives, Network Adapters, and external hard drives. For many of those devices, USB has become the standard connection method.

USB APRON

usb, connection, computer, internet, data,
USB (Universal Serial Bus) is an industry standard developed in the mid-1990s that defines the cables, connectors and protocols used for connection, communication and power supply between computers and electronic devices. USB was designed to standardise the connection of computer peripherals, such as keyboards, pointing devices, digital cameras, printers, portable media players, disk drives and network adapters to personal computers, both to communicate and to supply electric power. It has become commonplace on other devices, such as smartphones, PDAs and video game consoles. USB has effectively replaced a variety of earlier interfaces, such as serial and parallel ports, as well as separate power chargers for portable devices. As of 2008, about 2 billion USB devices were sold each year, and approximately 6 billion devices have been sold in total.
